Dr. Krajewski, the founder of the Geriatric Advisory Program, is the former Assistant Secretary of Health and Chief Physician of the State of Maryland.  He has also served as the Assistant Secretary of Mental Health, Addictions and Developemental Disabilities for Maryland. He has been twice named "Top Doc" by Baltimore magazine.

Currently, Dr. Krajewski is a Clinical Associate Professor of Psychiatry at the University of Maryland Medical School and Director of medical services for Integra health management.

Dr. Krajewski has lectured nationally and internationally on a variety of topics from patient rights to care for the elderly.  He has also appeared on numerous television shows including the Charley Rose show and Nightline with Ted Koppel as well as Oprah Winfrey's original show.

Deciding whether an older person should be kept at home or placed in an alternative setting such as assisted living or nursing home is often a difficult and upsetting issue for any family member.  For over 20 years Dr. Krajewski has been helping family members and providers make the right decision regarding the care and placement of  our elderly.
